Hi! Iโ€™m TJ.๐Ÿ’™

Outside of coaching, hereโ€™s what lights me up:โ€‹

  • Reading. Coffee. Huskies. Lazy mornings and firepit nights.

  • I yell at football games (GO Chiefs!) and belt out Halestorm (well most any music) in my car – Lzzy Hale is such a badass!

  • Both the mountains and the ocean (why choose?)

  • Fuzzy pants in winter. Lifting weights to remind myself how strong I am.

  • Nothing beats time with my husband.

I work with midlife women craving a new rhythm, one that’s slower, deeper, more aligned with new priorities and passions.

If you’ve been:

  • Whispering ‘Who am I now?’ somewhere between yoga class and reheating your coffee for the third time

  • Showing up for everyone else while quietly forgetting yourself in the process

  • Holding it together on the outside but dimmed inside

  • Circling the edges of the life you ache for instead of stepping in

…I see you.

My coaching guides you back to your whole, bold, unapologetic self and a life that finally feels like yours.

How We’ll Work

You’ll get:

  • A hefty dose of compassion + a loving pinch of “let’s cut the BS”

  • Someone steady enough to hold space for your messy middle

  • Body-based practices, mindfulness, and reflective journaling to get you out of your head and back into your body

  • Permission to experiment, play, and grow

With me, you’ll find an open door, an outstretched hand, and a virtual high-five waiting for you. ๐Ÿ™Œ

How I got here

I was the one who always had it together. Or at least, that’s what I wanted you to see.
Perfection was my armor. If I kept achieving, kept proving myself, kept holding it all together, I couldn’t fail… right?

Except the truth was: that armor was heavy as hell.
Living like that left me exhausted, anxious, and terrified of screwing up.
My worth was tangled in doing more, being more, keeping everyone else happy, while
breaking promise after promise to myself.

Then one day, a friend said, “Try yoga.” That one class cracked open a door I didn’t even know I’d locked. On the other side?

  • Self-care

  • Self-compassion

  • A softer way of being

Yoga led me to mindfulness and presence. I learned how to live in my body instead of bulldozing through life in my head. I witnessed the changing fall leaves and the bloom of spring in real time.

But it wasn’t all a straight line up from there.
When my husband and I moved to Kansas City in my late 40s, I slipped back into my old patterns: putting myself last, criticizing myself, trying to keep it all together. Old armor, same weight.

It took time, and a hell of a lot of inner work, to find my way back.

And it was worth every damn step.

Now in my 50s, I'm asking different questions:

What do I want from this chapter of my life?
How do I want to feel when I wake up?
What actually matters to me now?

One bold, recent answer: I gave myself permission to step into a part of me I’d silenced for years. I dropped my given name and started showing up as TJ – because TJ feels like freedom. She’s bold, creative, and unapologetic. She’s not afraid to try, to fail, to play bigger.

That shift isn’t just a name change.

It’s a way of living.
And it’s a big part of why I do this work – to help women like you reclaim the parts of yourself you’ve tucked away for too damn long.

Because you don’t have to keep living under the weight of roles and expectations.

You get to remember who you are.
You get to rise – radiant, unapologetic, fully you.

Why I'm Passionate About This Work

This is for you if you're ready to...

Why I'm Passionate About This Work

Because I know what happens when you finally stop neglecting your own heart.
When you remember who you are without the titles, the expectations, the “shoulds.”

When you know your values, your dreams, and you trust yourself again, everything changes.

โ€‹

  • You stop shrinking

  • You stop circling the edges of your own life

  • You start showing up as your whole damn self

And that’s when the joy, the freedom, the radiance you’ve been craving finally break through.

(And yes, you’re allowed to want it.)

Stop faking “fine” and reconnect to yourself

  • Break out of going-through-the-motions living

  • Unearth your buried spark

  • Quit hiding parts of yourself to keep the peace (bonus points if you mutter “WTF” under your breath at least once a week)

  • Explore new priorities, new passions, a new way forward

If your gut whispered yes to even one, you’re in the right place.

My Vision

I imagine a world where big-hearted women in midlife trust their bodies as much as their minds and keeping a promise to yourself is as sacred as keeping one to anyone else. Where the journey home to your own knowing, acceptance and love never ends, it only deepens. Where you find yourself, your voice, your power and your magic.

My Mission

I help midlife women make devotion to themselves a sacred, unbreakable practice.

My Business Values

Grounded, compassionate presence

Being fully in the moment with someone, listening deeply without judgement, coming from a heart-centered place of knowing myself, my values, my worth.

Brave, authentic connection

Initiating connection even when I second-guess myself.  Saying ‘yes’ to opportunities to meet new people and get to know them. Being real – vulnerable and honest and not glossing over (no automatic I’m fine) or insisting on staying in surface-level conversation.

Fun & fulfilling

Actively participating in my business in ways that hardly feel like work, but spark joy and a sense of fun and leave me feeling like my heart will burst from fullness.

Generous, integrity-led service

Sharing my knowledge and lived wisdom as a heart-centered act of service toward bettering myself, others, and my part of the world. Giving of myself in ways that feel good to me and lift others, guide others and grow my business, my trust in myself, and the trust of others in me.

Embodied leadership

Modeling self-leadership and showing up like the beautiful, unpolished work in progress that I am. The courage to be witnessed by others while choosing myself. Actively participating in courageous visibility and bold self-expression. Showing vulnerability and authenticity while having an enormous amount of self-trust

My Personal Values

Grounded presence

Rooted and centered – stable yet flexible…able to bend, less apt to break. A sense of peace and calm deep inside that allows me to tune out the ‘noise’ and remain true to myself. Being fully in the moment in the experiences of my life and with others.

Joyful aliveness

Life is so much brighter and more fun when I intentionally seek out true heartfelt joy in daily life from the smallest routine things to the bigger rare things. Going to bed each night feeling like my heart will burst from fullness. Play and have fun – it keeps a soul young.

Self-awareness & solitude

Being connected to myself on a deep level so that I know my energy and capacity levels, what recharges me, what drains me, what my needs are, what routines/practices support me, when I can push harder, when I need to pull back, my priorities, my boundaries and all the other things that help me live my best, most aligned life.

Sacred recalibration time to hear my heart and soul. Time when I refill my cup, have ideas, reflect, envision, check-in around self-awareness and make adjustments. Keep my own company.

Courageous growth

Engage in things that challenge me to help me learn, evolve and expand.  Feeling the fear and doing it anyway to keep growing.
